The scientific name of the species is Sequoia Sempervirens. The total height of this particular tree is reported at 115.61 meters (379.3 ft). This is the tallest living tree in the world and is located in the Redwood National and State Park in the state of California, U.S. The tree was measured by a team of certified naturists on 25th August, 2006. The estimation of the details of the tree is that it is likely to contain 18,600 cubic feet (530 cubic meters) of wood. The age of this particular tree is estimated to be 700-800 years.
